"The spirit of the universe is at once creative and destructive.. it creates while it destroys and destroys while it creates, and therefore it remains to us a riddle. And we must inevitably resign ourselves to this."
-Albert Schweitzer

Destructive Tendencies
Any creative ideas on how to wreck this book? Please comment!
Here's an article on creative destruction.

My Wrecked Journal
The first post on a somewhat unusual blog. Well, here it is. Some of you out there have heard of a book entitled WRECK THIS JOURNAL by Keri Smith. You've probably seen it while browsing books at Urban Outfitters or the craft book section in Barnes & Noble's. Those who know what it is, great! Now for those who don't...
It's an art form. A journal. A book. As it says on the title page, "To create is to destroy." Keep that in mind. Now, a little factual information. It is EXACTLY what it says it is. Something for you to wreck creatively either alone or with friends. It's a way to let out stress. Try something new. Do something you never imagined yourself doing. Throw it. Doodle in the margins. Spit on it. Rub dirt in it. This is your freedom. Creativity. Life. New Experiences.
Discover the world.
